Over the summer, I designed a few layouts in Adobe InDesign for Mochi Magazine. Unfortunately, because of a lack of funding, Mochi wasn't able to print our first issue, so the layout team stopped.

ARCH160 | Spring 2008 This was a team project done my sophomore year for a construction class. Our bridge was reinforced with thin wire mesh and it had a double-T along the bottom. The footings were much thicker than the body but hallowed out to save weight. During the test, ...

ED11B | Fall 2007 First real design project done for an intro to design studio course completed the first semester of my sophomore year. This month-long project was split into 3 parts: subtracting land, adding walls, and multiplying a pattern to create the mesh/roof.
ARCH150 | Fall 2007 Individual project done during my sophomore year for a structures course. I designed it so that the main wooden members held each other in place with series of knotches. The structure itself was already pretty strong and stable without the reinforced pieces and glue.
ED11B | Fall 2007 First semester of my sophomore year, our studio collectively reconstructed a model of Strawberry Creek and added in bridges, stairs, and overlooks. I chose to create a tiny foot bridge, since a bridge made the most sense for my particular strip of the creek.
ED11A | Spring 2007 This project was actually assigned at the end of our art studio, the prerequisite to our first design studio, so the design process wasn't emphasized; it was assigned only as an introduction to design. Project done during my freshman year.
ED11A | Spring 2007 I built an abstract structure out of wooden strips and chipboard and then sprayed the entire model with gesso.
ED1 | October 2006 I built a life-sized spoonbill out of recycled plastic bottles of all sizes, and then spray-painted the sculpture.
ED1 | Fall 2006 Project I did my first semester freshman year to familiarize myself with the shop and its tools and machines.
When Flash-animated websites were popular, I decided to create one of my own. The entire design is 100% Flash built. Ultimately, the site was not search engine optimized and quite inefficient, so I discontinued it.

This was one of the most graphics-intensive layouts I created for my LiveJournal back in my junior year of high school. The navigation consisted of tabs on the right edge with preview images of each page’s header image.
